Requesting a copy of a Police Report

Commonly requested Law Enforcement records may be requested on-line at southsount911.org/215/Requesting-a-public-record, mailed to or submitted on a walk-in basis at the public counter at South Sound 911. 945 Tacoma Ave S, Tacoma, WA 98402.

Commonly requested records include, Police/Incident reports and Vehicle Accident Reports. Requests for records will be reviewed in accordance with Public Records Laws. Please be aware that South Sound 911 does not e-mail police/incident reports. Requestors will be notified by mail when this review is complete and if there are any associated fees.

For all cases prior to November 3, 2014, to request a copy of an Eatonville Police Department Report, fill out the Public Disclosure Request form. Your request will be reviewed in accordance with the Public Records Laws. Report copies may incur a cost of $0.15 per page. You may submit the form online, by mail or on a walk-in basis at the Eatonville Police Department located at 201 Center St W, (PO Box 309) Eatonville WA, 98328. This report may not be available at the time of the request. You will be notified when this review is complete and if there are any associated fees.

 

When a report is made by an officer, a case number is issued.  Please wait 48 hours after the report is submitted before requesting a copy.
