The Town of Eatonville assures that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin as provided by the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title VI, and the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 (P.L. 100.259) be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity for which the recipient receives Federal financial assistance for transit and highway projects conducted by the Town of Eatonville.
The Town of Eatonville further assures every effort will be made to ensure non-discrimination in all of its programs and activities and the impact of those programs, whether those programs or activities are federally funded or not.
TITLE VI COMPLAINT PROCEDURES
If you believe you have been discriminated against based on race, color, or national origin in programs, services, or activities where there is federal assistance, you may file a Title VI complaint. Complaints must be filed no later than one-hundred eighty (180) days after the date of the last instance of alleged discrimination.If your complaint involves a transit or highway project, you can fill out a complaint form online.Non-English versions of the above complaint form are also available.If your complaint involves a program other than a transit or highway project, you submit your complaint directly to the Town of Eatonville. Your complaint should describe who discriminated against you, how you were discriminated against, what was the basis of the discrimination (i.e. race, color, or national original), the date of the discrimination, what remedy you are seeking, and any other people we should contact who can support your allegation.
