Town Council


The Eatonville Town Council serves as the legislative body for the Town of Eatonville, with the Mayor acting as chairperson. It is constructed of five elected representatives serving four year terms. The Mayor Pro Tem and Alternate Mayor Pro Tem are selected every six months by the members of the Council. The Town Council is responsible for enacting ordinances and resolutions and, therefore, establishing the rules of conduct relating to the corporate affairs of the municipality, as well as the policies and standards of the Town.

PERMANENT COMMITTEES

Public Safety - Police, Fire & Animal Control - Council member Dunn-Chair & Council member Schrimpsher
Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm at the Visitor Center.
 
Finance - Council member Hannah-Chair & Council member Schrimpsher
Meetings will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm at Visitor Center.
 
Public Utilities - Council member Hannah-Chair & Council member Thomas
Meetings will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm at the Visitor Center.
 
Parks & Recreation - Council member Walter-Chair & Council member Thomas
Meetings will be held on the 4th Wednesday of every other month at 6:00pm at the Visitor Center, except monthly in the summer
 
Airport-Council member Thomas-Chair & Council member Walter
Meetings will be held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm at the Visitor Center
